About Us


Hi!  We're Catherine and Gina, the proud owners of The Body Bar.  We thank you for your interest and for taking the time to read about us!  :)

We graduated with honors from the Boulder College of Massage Therapy (BCMT) in Boulder, Colorado. BCMT is one of the top massage therapy schools in the nation; when we graduated, BCMT offered more than 1000 hours of intensive curriculum and hands-on training.

Professional Summaries

Catherine Lantry, BA, CRMT, AOS
Catherine originally comes from the Chicago area, moving to Colorado right after graduating from Eastern Illinois University in 1995 with a BA in English and French.  She finds joy in the mountains here, whether motorcycling, skiing,  mountain biking, or just relaxing in a camp chair. Catherine worked in the high-tech industry before deciding to pursue a career helping others through massage therapy.  While in school at BCMT, Catherine interned at the physical therapy clinic in the Yampa Valley Medical Center in Steamboat Springs, CO.  She has performed community service work at the Boulder County AIDS Project (BCAP) in Boulder, CO, and she continues to volunteer at BCAP’s massage clinics whenever she can.  After graduating from BCMT, she went on to get her Associate Degree in Occupational Studies (AOS).
Catherine specializes in deep-tissue work that includes integrative and energy work techniques.  She is a Certified Member of Associated Bodywork and Massage Professionals (ABMP).

Gina Venturini, AS, CRMT
Gina is originally from Santa Cruz, California, and she moved to Colorado in 1999.  She enjoys the outdoors and loves riding horses with her daughter.  While in school at BCMT, Gina interned at the Colorado Therapeutic Riding Center (CTRC) in Longmont, CO, providing equine massage and energy work for aging, injured, and special-needs horses.  She interned at Avista Therapy Center in Louisville, CO, providing massage to prenatal and postpartum women at the Avista Birth Center.  She interned with the Colorado Crush arena football team in Commerce City, CO, providing sports massage to the athletes.  She also interned at South Boulder Chiropractic doing prenatal massage for chiropractic patients.  She completed a mentorship at Longmont United Hospital, providing prenatal and postpartum massage.  She performed community service at the Tour de Cure benefit in Longmont, CO, for the American Diabetes Association.  Gina is a current Member of the American Massage Therapy Association (AMTA).

Our Wonderful Therapists

Nicole Greenhouse, CRMT
Nicole Nicole grew up in Colorado. She loves the mountains and loves hiking with her dogs. She graduated from the University of Colorado in 2003 with a BA in Anthropology and Sociology. She was a swimmer through high school and college and now enjoys yoga and painting in her spare time, and enjoys travelling and SCUBA diving. She also works at Boulder Community Hospital, wher she teaches swimming to children with disabilities. She attended Boulder College of Massage Therapy (BCMT) and graduated with honors in Spring 2011. While at BCMT, she interned at the Boulder Veterans Center working with post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD) and at the Colorado Therapeutic Riding Center (CTRC). She also volunteered at the Bolder Boulder to work with athletes. In addition to therapeutic massage techniques, Nicole specializes in prenatal massage, reflexology, and Thai massage. Nicole is currently a member of the American Massage Therapy Association (AMTA).





Nashalla Gwyn Nyinda, BA, TMD, CRMT
 Nashalla grew up in Denver and was introduced to Taoist Five-Element Acupuncture at the age of 15. She worked in the natural health food industry after graduating high school, becoming a self-taught herbalist. At Naropa University, she studied Chinese, Ayurvedic, and Tibetan medicine along with nutrition and acupressure techniques for trauma. She graduated in 2001 with an Interdisciplinary BA on body-mind-spirit based healing and Buddhist Psychology and began to practice working largely with spinal and head injury and ADD/ADHD clients.  To know Tibetan medicine more fully, she moved to India to study. Nashalla is now among a very small handful of Western persons ever to complete training as a traditional Tibetan Medical Doctor (TMD) and hold certification from a qualified Tibetan Medical College in the Himalayas. Kristy Berger, BBA, CRMT, NCTMB
KristyKristy grew up in the Chicago area. She graduated from the University of Iowa with a Bachelors in Business Administration Finance and a German minor. She moved to Colorado in 2007 to enjoy the mountains. Once here, she decided to change careers, and attended the Boulder College of Massage Therapy (BCMT), graduating with honors in 2008. While in school, Kristy interned with South Boulder Chiropractic, at Avista Hospital for prenatal/postpartum massage and at Boulder County Hospice Care to provide comfort touch to hospice patients. She also provided sports massage to athletes at several local races. After graduating from BCMT, Kristy provided chair massage to Boulder County employees as well as maintained a private practice. Kristy is a member of the Associated Bodywork and Massage Professionals (ABMP) and is nationally certified through the National Certification Board for Therapeutic Massage and Bodywork (NCBTMB).



Selina Borquez, CRMT, CTP, CPMP

Selina Selina was born and raised in Tucson, but has enjoyed living and working in Vail, Manhattan, and Yelapa Mexico. She finds joy and inspiration in creating art, rock climbing, and playing her Native American flute and Djembe. Selina worked as a graphic designer and art director before following her heart to bodywork. She studied Five Element Theory and Chinese Acupressure (Tui Na) at the Oriental Healing Arts Institute, graduating in 2004. She continued her education with Leslie Bruder at Phenomenal Touch, and graduated from BCMT in 2011. At BCMT, she interned at the Boulder Veterans Center working with post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD). She has since worked alongside physical therapists to provide injury and rehabilitative care. Selina also maintains a private practice devoted to PTSD and trauma touch therapies. Continuing her somatic training with Annie Brook, she plans to continue her studies in trauma, prenatal/perinatal attachment, and body-centered psychotherapy. Selina specializes in deep-tissue work that includes integrative and somatic techniques. She is currently a member of the American Massage Therapy Association (AMTA).



Leigh A. Lamitola, BA, CRMT, NCTMB, CYT
Leigh Leigh grew up in Connecticut and graduated from The University of Delaware in 2004 with a degree in Psychology. In 2009, she found her calling as a yoga instructor, which has taught patience and acceptance, increased her spiritual beliefs, and confirmed her belief that all things happen for a reason. With a new inspiration, she attended the Boulder College of Massage Therapy (BCMT) and graduated with honors in 2011. While attending BCMT, she interned at the St Julien Spa, Rejuv Health Makeovers, and with musicians at the University of Colorado. Her massages focus on promoting healing and relaxation.  Her techniques are a blend of Swedish, Shiatsu, Neuromuscular, Orthopedic, Integrative, and Thai massage, also incorporating energy work and Reiki. In her spare time, Leigh enjoys spending time with her husband and their two dogs. She also loves hiking, being in nature, and going to see live music.  She is a current member of the American Massage Therapy Association (AMTA).
